    Motor City is a district in southern Dubai built around the theme of motorsports. It is home to the Dubai Autodrome with a race track and go-karting, surrounded by residential neighbourhoods, offices and all the necessary services.     It is easy to get here by car, with the major Sheikh Mohammed Bin Zayed Road (E311) and Hessa Street (D61) motorways nearby. It usually takes 20-25 minutes to get to Dubai Marina and JBR, about half an hour to Downtown Dubai, 15-20 minutes to Mall of the Emirates, and about 30 minutes to Dubai International Airport (DXB). There is no metro station nearby, but there are buses, and taxis and car sharing are available at any time.

Nearby are the seasonal parks Dubai Miracle Garden and Butterfly Garden, and at Sports City there are football, tennis and cricket academies. Cinemas and large shopping and entertainment centres are located at Al Barsha and Dubai Marina, within a short drive.
