    Dubai Internet City is an area along Sheikh Zayed Road, between Dubai Marina, Palm Jumeirah and Al Barsha, near the Dubai Internet City metro station on the red line. It is home to one of the city's main technology clusters and a free economic zone where major international companies such as Google, Microsoft, Oracle, IBM and many start-ups operate. This makes the area particularly convenient for IT, media and digital marketing professionals: offices, co-working spaces, hotels and residential complexes are located very close to each other, with well-maintained boulevards, cafés and green spaces in between.

    The infrastructure around Dubai Internet City has long been established. For large purchases and entertainment, residents of property at Dubai Internet City most often go to the Mall of the Emirates, which is about a 10-minute drive away. Inside the mall, there are hundreds of shops, restaurants, a cinema and the famous Ski Dubai with a ski slope and snow park for the whole family. Another popular leisure option is Dubai Marina and the JBR promenade. Dubai Marina can be reached by metro in 5-10 minutes, and the beach and The Walk promenade are about 15-20 minutes away by public transport or car.
