    Dubai Islands is a new archipelago of five artificial islands off the northern coast of Dubai, opposite the Deira district. The project is being developed by Nakheel. The idea is simple: to create a coastal area with residential properties, hotels, marinas, parks, beaches, shopping and entertainment facilities.

    One of the main advantages of Dubai Islands is its location. The islands offer convenient access to key points in the city: approximately 20 minutes by car to Dubai International Airport, about 25 minutes to Downtown Dubai and Dubai Mall, and about 30 minutes to Business Bay. The islands are connected to the mainland by bridges, so it takes very little time to get to Deira and other areas. At the same time, residents of the islands have access to a long line of beaches, promenades and views of the Arabian Gulf.

    Near Dubai Islands is the historic centre of Deira with its famous Gold Souk and Spice Souk markets. Here you can stroll along the renovated pedestrian streets, visit traditional shops, cafes and small stores. For outdoor recreation, Al Mamzar Beach Park is a 15-20 minute drive away. It is a large park with several beaches, swimming pools, green lawns, sports fields and barbecue areas.

    Not far from Dubai Islands is Deira City Centre Mall with hundreds of shops, a Carrefour supermarket, VOX Cinemas, Magic Planet family entertainment park and a large selection of cafes and restaurants, from fast food to chain and local concepts.
